There Was A Home Under Two Red Suns is a tiny Bitsy game intended to bring visibility to the genocidal war that ethnic Armenians both in Armenia and in Artsakh are currently facing as the international community, which means the entire world, chooses silence. This game highlights unpunished patterns of violence, redrawing borders, the human cost of war, and  collective inattention. 

This is a feminist issue. This is an anti-colonial issue. This is an environmental issue. As an entire ethnic group is at risk of extinction, this needs but isn't afforded the same international concern and attention that is given to  similar struggles in different places. 

I will not get into the context of this war, the indigenity of Armenians, or the extent to the terror that they have recently and repeatedly have endured while living between two giants that want to exterminate them. Instead, I hope this short game motivates folks to dig more on their own, with a few links provided.

If you'd like resources on places you can donate to, here is a carrd.co link with a list of organizations, actions, and reading material to learn more on the conflict. If you can't donate, raise awareness- literally any signal of support from non-Armenians counts. 

I recommend donating to The Armenian Wounded Hero Fund, which donates all of its proceeds to providing direct aid and rehabilitation services to Armenians wounded in battle, and Koorigs, which provides immediate aid to families that have been displaced by war and colonialism. There are plenty of other organizations worth checking out as well in the carrd link.
